Sightglass Coffee is the epitome of pretentious San Francisco coffee places. It’s in a SOMA warehouse, the employees give you a weird look if you dare ask for soy milk and the more you sip their coffee, the more you feel like a hipster start-up CEO. It’s a beautiful space (you can people watch from an upstairs loft-like space), but it’s definitely not a comfortable place to hang out and have coffee. But delicious coffee makes it worth it to stop in, get some to go and maybe head a few blocks over to Pinkie’s Bakery on Folsom (it’s on my to-try list – hold your breath for a post in a few weeks).
