Feature :: Hazel’s Kitchen

Hazel’s Kitchen in Portero Hill has got to be one of the cuter lunch spots in the city. Tiffany blue cupboards, black and white checkboard tile floors, delicious and fresh sandwiches, two doors down from a great coffee spot and public parklet, outdoor seating…what more could you ask for? I stopped in today for a tofu melt. Don’t judge a book by its cover – I promise it was delicious despite its lack of meat. Melted provolone, pieces of tofu, some cucumber, mixed greens, all smothered in pesto ailoi.
