Feature :: The Mill

If you’ve been hiding under a bread-and-coffee-deprived rock in San Francisco for the past couple weeks, maybe you haven’t heard of The Mill. The place is genius: it’s a culinary and caffeine collaboration between Josey Baker Bread and Four Barrel Coffee. They set up shop in a beautiful, high-ceiled, open and airy space on Divisadero with lots of communal and solo seating, delicious bread, baked treats and coffee on display all around.

I stopped in for a quick “almond milk au lait” (read: coffee with steamed almond milk) and was very happy with it, but the real gems I can’t wait to try are their toast offerings (see picture below). Plus, it’s only a block away from the new Bi-Rite, so, win-win…

The Mill // 736 Divisadero St, San Francisco, CA 94117 // Monday through Sunday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
