A few sunny San Francisco afternoons ago I made it over to Zeitgeist in the Mission. An extensive beer and drink selection paired with a huge outdoor beer garden (a.k.a. bunch of wooden picnic tables where you can drink beer) equals great fun. Their bloody marys are excellent, flavorful and strong with just the right amount of spice and kick. And surprisingly, Zeitgeist’s kitchen churns out one of the better grilled cheeses I’ve had in the city, which is saying a lot.
I wish I had some better shots, but just go check it out for yourself the next time you need somewhere to enjoy the sun while sipping on a pitcher of Anchor Stream or a spicy bloody. Also, it’s a great people-watching spot. Hipsters galore.
