Feature :: Clarion Alley

IMG_2096Whilst bopping around the Mission today I stumbled upon Clarion Alley, a small side street off Valencia completely covered in graffiti and murals. Turns out the street is home to the Clarion Alley Mural Project, which was formed in 1982 (see the link above to the Wikipedia post for more info). The art is all about community activism, race, segregation, etc. If you live in the city and haven’t seen it it is absolutely worth checking out.
