This week, I finally headed up to Tahoe to put in some quality time on the slopes. I stayed in Truckee (super cute old fashioned one-street-downtown town) and snowboarded at Northstar. The snow was great and the weather perfect! And I managed to eat some amazing food as well. A quality restaurant called Moody’s Bistro Bar & Beats — named for the food, drinks and live music that the place boasts — is in the same building as the hotel we stayed in, the Truckee Hotel, so we went for dinner one night. Had some of the best pork tenderloin I’ve ever had — juicy, marinated perfectly, served with whole wheat spetzle, kombucha squash puree & kale.
