Yesterday, I got to go to Park Tavern in San Francisco for an amazing birthday brunch. If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend it. All really basic brunch stuff, but all done extremely well. Plus it’s a beautiful space, great location — and it didn’t hurt that it was a gorgeous day in the city on Saturday. Food highlights included seeded whole wheat, avocado, chili flake, lemon & sea salt toast; warm baguette with a trio of nut butters and acacia honey; and crispy polenta cakes with wild mushrooms, poached eggs, wild arugula, truffle salsa verde & shaved parmesan.
